Generative Techno in Ableton Live

Using generativity can be a creative and inspiring tool to add when producing music. But what if it doesn’t stop there, but you could keep the generativity in the productions or in the moment of performing? An exploration of ways of making productions that doesn’t sound the same every time you press play. But as a producer making the choices of what parameters of a production and to what extent may be variable, generative and unpredictable. The presentation will showcase ways of doing this using Ableton Live, as a way of getting new inspiration in the process of production or as a part of live performance or music installation.
