Jena Jang

Jena Jang is a South Korean experimental musician, performer and DIY instrument builder based in Prague. Her work combines noise, improvised vocals and self-built electronics into body-driven performances that explore emotional release, transformation and the connection between human and non-human worlds. Centered around the concept of “Necrocore“, her practice channels raw energy and vulnerability to build immediate immersion.

As part of this year’s noise offerings, Jena Jang will deliver a visceral performance in Krossverket’s enclosed space, using a hybrid acoustic–electronic setup of hand-soldered circuits, open-source synthesisers and unconventional objects. Expect an intimate, high-energy encounter with sound, movement and technology.
