Madeleine Andersson

Madeleine Andersson is a Swedish artist based in Copenhagen. In her work humor, identity, sex and violence emerge as central nodes where she seeks to question and re-work current definitions of the apocalypse; whether it’s a personal ending, a disclosure of knowledge or a global catastrophe.

Andersson has shown works at Accelerator (SWE), S.M.A.K. (BE), Nikolaj Kunsthal (DK), La MEP (FR), Galerie 35m2 (CZ), Färgfabriken (SWE) amongst others.
