Mattias Petersson
Mattias Petersson, senior lecturer at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, is a composer and performer working with hybrid forms of computer music, live coding and modular synthesis. He has performed worldwide, both as a solo artist and in various constellations. One of his most notable projects is the long term collaboration with violinist George Kentros in the duo There are no more four seasons. Formed in 2004, they were pioneers of the recomposition movement, taking older pieces of music and recontextualizing them to make them relevant to our times. As a solo artist he has released music on labels like Hallow Ground, Moving Furniture Records, Ideal Recordings and Fylkingen Records.
