Miglė Vyčinaitė
Miglė Vyčinaitė is a Lithuanian artist based in Copenhagen whose work revolves around the creation of modern myths and magical materialism, mediated through technical images that alter our perception and interaction with the world. She develops speculative scenarios intertwined with non-canonical histories. In her work, images no longer refer to the past but exist in an eternal present, constantly being updated and manipulated.In her art practice, she uses different media such as video art, sculptures, text, and installations.
Miglė Vyčinaitė's work has recently been presented at Art Hub Copenhagen (2024), Gossamer Fog in London (2024), Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen (2024), the National Art Gallery in Vilnius (2023), FABRIKKEN for Art and Design in Copenhagen (2023), and SixtyEight Art Institute in Copenhagen (2023), amongst others.
