OCO

Based between Stockholm, Aalborg and Lisbon, OCO is a duo composed by Susana Santa-Marta and Francisco Tavares Moura who started their collaboration in 2023 with Archaeologies of Destruction.

Basing their practice in the potential of installatory sound as a tool for activism and public space intervention, they focus on site specific instances, space acoustics, field recordings, the politics of noise and how these factors ally with an intuitive desire to understand one’s sense of belonging.

As part of this year's Unworlding, OCO presents an archaeo-acoustic dissection of the sonic ecosystems inhabiting the innards of Mimer, re-territorialising these phenomena from within to a space where they can be witnessed as a collective aural experience.
