SUUTOO

SUUTOO is a London-based transdisciplinary artist, composer, DJ and performance artist whose practice moves fluidly between music, performance, art and club culture. Rooted in world-building, her work spans sound, movement, installation, video and visual material, guided by an ongoing inquiry into transformation, emancipation, transience and sonic potentialities. Her sound sits in the in-between — weaving noise, intimacy, spirituality and myth into sonic environments and embodied performances that resist fixed meaning. 

Following her double A/V release EXTRA / LOUD, the new EP STARFIRE marks a further evolution in SUUTOO’s sonic practice. Developed between 2020 and 2025, the EP grew out of a series of performance scores, expanding over time into a live, visual, sonic, poetic and aesthetic language, shaped by embodied experimentation, layered noise and improvised intensities.

As part of this year's Unworlding, SUUTOO will bring her new EP and audiovisual performance STARFIRE to life inside of Mimerlaven’s walls. Expect a noisy, bright and visually evocative soundscape embodied through improvisation and punk-inspired techniques.
