Nagirčalmmiid

Originally a stoner/doom duo, Nagirčalmmiid has evolved into a quartet that exists somewhere in between hardcore, sludge and screamo. From writing lyrics in English and burying their meaning deep in metaphors, the band has found the confidence to express itself through writing in their first language and performing with dialect. Nagirčalmmiid is a brutal self-examination projected through a desperate soundscape, inviting to struggle, both with oneself and others.

This performance is part of this year’s Amplify Sápmi program.
